Las elecciones y el Almuerzo de Acción de Gracias

It was an election year.  We made the students aware that parents would soon be voting for our next president.  They needed to be part of the elections.
They were made aware of the candidates and what they stood for.  Soon our students would need to make a decision.
The votes were cast.  Now the ballots needed to be counted.
We all awaited anxiously to see who our next president would be.  Regardless of who we voted for, we all knew we would support whoever received the most votes.
And the final tally.  DUCK won!  The children learn that in a fair election, we would support the winner, even if he wasn't the one you voted for, because the majority ruled.
Today, Thursday, Nov. 14th, was AJ's last day in our class.  His mom, a sailor stationed in Virginia, would finally be able to bring him home.
We love you AJ and we will miss you.  We are very happy you'll finally be able to be with your mom.  And even better, dad, also a sailor, will soon be returning from overseas.
Are not our little pilgrims and Indians the cutest you've ever seen?
Thanks to our moms, Mrs. Ciereszko, Ms. Hill and Ms. Qiuntana for helping turn our little ones into precious pilgrims and Indians..
Ms. Mila and our very own little pilgrim, Luciano.
