Una excursion a la granja

On Wednesday, September 26th our class took their first field trip to Sykes and Cooper's Farm.  We had been studying about the farm and the animals that live on a farm.  There was much excitement in the air.  Here we have Anthony, Vishaal, and Gage all set to start this trip!

Lorenzo, Anna and Victoria wonder when this bus will start moving.

AJ, Alessandra and Jayden are ready to get there.

Can you see the excitement on Owen, Abby and Caleb's faces?

Xavier, Stiven and Gino are thinking, OK, stop with the pictures and tell the bus driver to move this bus!

Diego, Luciano and Sereneti are wondering what they might see when they get there.
Gabriela's wondering why is she not with the rest of her classmates (but excited nevertheless).

Yay!!!!!! We're Here!  OK, now we're hungry!!!!!

Our wonderful parent's and Nurse Lym are all rarin' to go.

First we have to fuel them up.

Mr. Mastrocinque is just as delighted as the kids to be here.

"Yummy, yummy, yummy!"
Mrs. Cromer and her illustrious crew.

Must admit, sun was a bit piercing this day.

Ms. Amanda wants to know "Are we ready to have fun?!"

"Why do we have to take our shoes off?"

"Let's get up and jump!"

Mrs. Wilson gets in on the fun.

Yippee!!!!!

"This is fun!!!!"

Can I jump also?
Next stop, the maze.

Where are we going?

Keep your eyes open for Spookley.

It's hot, but we're looking.

At the end of the story we see that no matter what you look like, we are all part of a great family!

WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew!!!!!!

"Let's do that again."

Others prefer the corn pit.

"I'm going to beat you."

Are they not cute!? :)

Can't believe we were able to get them all together for 4 pictures.

El burrito dice, "Hee haw."
This little cerdito knows to stay in the shade.

Que grande la cochina!!!!!!

We're going on a hay ride.

There's one little pumpkin trying to grow.

Selena with her pumpkin pie sweet parents.
We did our job!  They are "plumb tuckered out".

Though it was a bit hot, we had a great day.   Thank you to all our parents, and nurse, who were able to join us and make this a wonderful experience for our children.  In all my years in this program I have always stated that I have the best parents.  This year seems like no exception.
